All artists are passionate about their work. How that passion comes through the work and connects to audiences is explored through this powerful exhibition. The viewer does not merely see this vibrant, energetic, moving exhibition with their eyes, but rather they experience, absorb, and feel the effects of when artists truly put their passion into and onto the materials used and the words written. Moreover, when artists create work about topics they care about, they make more meaningful art. 

The Art Center Highland Park asks artists  “Why do you make the work that you make and how does it affect change?” The Passion Project Exhibition explores how the creative process travels from artist, to art, and from art to audiences, igniting the connection on a visceral level.  Here, the art, artist, and viewer are all intertwined as we redefine our word of the year, vibrance.
